The Largest Trade Associations for Garage Door Dealers and Manufacturers in North America is Determined to Raise Awareness Regarding Door Safety Throughout the Month of June

Kansas City, MO, USA – June 12, 2019: IDA (International Door Association) and DASMA (Door & Access Systems Manufacturers Association), has proudly announced that they are observing the month of June as ‘Garage Door Safety Month.’ IDA and DASMA are North America’s largest trade associations for dealers and manufacturers of garage doors, rolling doors, high performance doors, garage door operators, vehicular gate operators, and access control products. Moreover, IDA and DASMA will also educate people about the proper inspection of their garage doors for maximum safety during this month.

“DASMA members’ products represent more than 95 percent of the U.S. market for the doors and access industry and we are pleased to announce that we will also be celebrating and observing the month of June to raise awareness regarding garage door safety,” said Brad Dodson, director of marketing for the Delden Garage Doors, while talking about the month. According to Dodson, the company will also educate consumers on Delden’s Facebook and other social profiles with periodical safety articles, blogs and resources throughout the month of June.

Alongside IDA and DASMA, many companies in the garage door industry will be promoting door safety during the month, including a national “SuperTech Day” celebration on June 28, 2019. This is a day to celebrate and thank garage door technicians for all of the hard work they put in throughout the year.
